Overview
Muzezuru is a Shona-language AI chat companion. Conversations happen in your browser and are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your chat history.
Conversations & local storage
All conversations are stored in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share them. Clearing your browser data or using the in-app "Delete all" button removes them permanently.
AI inference
When you send a message, your text is sent to the Muzezuru model API to generate a response. No conversation history is retained server-side between sessions — each message is processed independently.
Analytics
This site may use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymised page view and performance data. No cookies are used and no personal identifiers are collected. Vercel's
privacy policy governs this data.

Limitations
Muzezuru is a research project and a work in progress. It may hallucinate or produce incorrect responses, particularly on complex prompts or low-resource Shona vocabulary. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, or safety-critical decisions.
Data retention
We do not store your conversations. Local data lives in your browser until you delete it. Server-side logs, if any, are retained only as long as required by our hosting provider's standard policies.
